First off, if you feel inclined to use up your ammo to start, shoot god 3 times with the handgun (no silencer if you happen to have it), and then wait for it to come down and expose its face. At this point switch to shotgun/smg, and shoot it. Stand just out of arms reach for this to maximise your accuracy. The shotgun is slow so you probably only have time for a single shot and still having time to dodge fire, while the smg is really fast so you can probably unload a full clip.

Stick to the back of the area and focus on dodging the fire after each shooting session. The fire always starts in an arc coming from whichever side of god you're on, and then spikes out to where you're standing, which is when you'll want to move to the side. Theres often two streams of fire at a time as you slowly kill her, and the fire will move increasingly fast as she gets lower and lower health.

When it comes to meleeing, I recomend the katana. To safely melee, just stay in the back and constantly dodge the fire for a few minutes, and eventually god will fall down without the need for you to shoot her. As soon as she falls down, she'll take a swipe with her arm, and as soon as she finishes that, run up and give 2-3 swings, and then retreat again. By retreating after only 2-3 swings you'll be able to get away from god before she swings at you with her hand again, and instead will use fire and go back to her upright position. Repeat for as long as it takes to defeat her (roughly half an hour on hard if you don't soften her up with any ammo at all and hit her every time she falls down on her own). (If you happen to be busy dodging flames when she falls down and don't see her initial swipe, I probably would just wait until next time rather than risking further hits, but that'd depend on how much health you have to spare.)

Also, for all of this I would recommend having your bulletproof vest off, for increased mobility for fire dodging purposes

Anyone who would desire to kill god is selfish. By definition it's an outright statement of not only, bloated self worth. but also a desire to strip people of something because they cannot appreciate it. Selfishness. That's all the west seems to be becoming these days and I'm glad it's why I took the redpill.
