Well, from what I have read about all the physical planes are a part of hell. Heaven is the only place in existence where everything is good by default. Hell will self correct itself, slowly, as the beings within hell become more pure expressions of their souls.

I have tried to ascend a few times myself, I have found that slow progress is more important than big world impacting events. The energy is high enough, and veil is thin enough for you to access the other side, if you are in alignment with the natural order of the cosmos.

Reality gives you what you are able to handle. Emotionally process whatever it is that you are going through, have some more faith in god. The world hasn't ended yet, as long as you pray and keep your love together you will find what you need to grow.
