I went to smoke last night on my porch that was well lit as soon as I stepped out of the door I saw a completely black thing about the size of a medium dog that didn't really have any features just these orange glowing eyes my first reaction was to yell at it and it just vanished . I watered the grass about 20 minutes prior of that and the ground was still damp so I looked around to see if there was any prints...none to be found.

You should set up a camera or something to record , maybe a Motion activated camera that is used to catch stuff in the forest when motion is present
