What movies are heavy on /x/ symbolism?

Holy mountain
The Shining, there's even a documentary about the supposed symbolism.
Fire Walk with me and Twin Peaks.
There's tons of occult/secret society/alien influence/government conspiracy stuff going on.

The Void seemed to have a lot of symbolism in regards to alchemy transmutation circles and other occult. But none of it seemed utilized correctly (I am fairly new to the subject though so I could be wrong). Seemed like it was mostly for creepy aesthetic and the whole "omg TRIANGLES ILLUMINATI". Pretty disappointing movie I thought. Like a bad Silent Hill... and Silent Hill (movie) was not great.

That movie could have been so good if it weren't hampered down by the found footage aspect and the jump-scares. It's kind of frustration because there's so much potential there. The premise is good, the acting is good, it just falls a little short. Still, I kind of enjoyed it.
If I could direct a remake of ANY film, it would be this.
Enemy (Jake Gyllenhaal)
Eyes Wide Shut
The Shining
The Cell
A.I.
The Matrix
Twin Peaks
