I saw people turn into lizards, birds, skeletons, shit from white zombie videos, people melted like wax and reformed, auras, goblins and wee folk. It was like an afterschool special gone horribly wrong.

the only thing that made me hold it together was out of all the mindbreak shit my brain was pumping out, I never changed, nor did my reflection.

I vaguely remember the rest of the night but the old man said i spoke prophecy and had the hand of God on me the whole time and everyone saw it.

So I've seen one of these myself. Gangly humanoids, smallish pointy teeth, big dark eyes, completely nocturnal and always seem to walk with a squat. They have long lower legs though and are a good foot or more taller than they first appear. They're always spotted in regions full of caves, mines, or old lava tubes.
Best time to find them is after sudden massive rains that last all day, flash flood type weather.
