Hey /x/ ,

Been lurking for a while and wanted to get your advice.

We've been living at a house for a little less than 3 years. Due to circumstances we're going to be leaving in a couple of days.

We've found that there's a benevolent spirit of a little girl. She often times plays with the cats and overall has had a positive experience in the household.

I wanted to get your advice on a couple of things.

1) How do I bless the household in a positive manner to welcome the homeowner returning? (Family friend and great family, he/they let us stay here for free for the duration only paying utilities)

2) How do I say goodbye but also thank you to the little girl? I want her to be at peace but also understand that we've enjoyed our stay here.

Any help is appreciated, thank you!

Not exactly my specialty, but off the top of my head I'd say for 1, maybe some kind of ritual to make sure you take all your own "baggage" with you along with some sort of sage/salt cleansing and maybe leaving some kind of positive charm / good luck charm in the house. For 2, maybe leave her a gift of some sort, like a cute plushy cat or something.
I'm not sure how effective any of this would be, it's not the kind of thing I've done a lot of.
