I travel over lake ponchatrain daily from neworleans to hammond for work. I believe the picture was taken at an angle to make it appear curved. All of the transmission towers are level and same height. This is just one of the worst examples of trying to prove this theory.

>>
>>19346525
They aren't completely solid objects faggot. You can clearly see right through all the gaps in the metal. Unless you put your camera lens right up to the tower, which you would probably do because you're clearly autistic. I never said it is impossible to get a pic of it appearing flat. Please shut the fuck up and go find a spiderman thread.
>>
>>19346576
>They aren't completely solid objects faggot.
It would still obscure the rest of the line seeing as they are built the same. Why don't you go try it with a power line near you and see. Oh wait, you're a FE tard, and that would require you to actually go outside.

>I never said it is impossible to get a pic of it appearing flat.
So what weather condition would allow you to see far enough to establish the line without giving the "curved illusion" from the horizon?
>>
>>19346595
Get directly behind tower. Take a picture right above the horizontal metal bars and you would see they are all lined up perfectly level, no curve. When the weather is clear you can see far enough for the horizon to give the illusion of a curve. When the visiblility isn't good enough to see that far, there will be no curve.
>>
>>19346595

Actually... gravity really isnt real.
It is the effect of this 3d realm being located between geometric 2d(surface of 1d density) and geometric 4d(space or 0 density).

It creates a spectrum of Density,
Higher Density moves downwards towards its density level closer to 2d(3d of 2d[pure 1d surface], as theres no pure 2d for our 3d realm)

Lower Density moves upwards towards its density level closer to 4d(3d of 4d[pure geometric space/lack of density], as theres no pure 4d for our 3d realm)

Arguing with flat earthers is a waste of time. In order to believe the earth is flat, you have to hold so many beliefs completely in contradiction to fact, from a vast conspiracy by all the world’s navies to the idea that the moon glows with its own light, that no argument is going to matter. There is no combination of words you can use that will convince a flat-earther the world is round. You could probably send them to the ISS and they’d believe it was all some elaborate special effect.

>>
>>19346981
sorry brother, I've been studying since I posted that.
If you're still here: the US Military "cannot account for" hundreds of billions of dollars every year. 1999, 2000, 2001 ALONE totaled nearly $2.5T, thats right, TRILLION dollars "missing" from Military budget. This money pours into corporate contracts for the MIC, entities that are NOT subject to FOIA requests.

tl;dr military industrial complex is and has been draining our taxpayers of their capital to finance extremely advanced technology

If you haven't already, watch "Unacknowledged", the new documentary ("exposé") on the subject.
11.5/10 would pay triple what it costs to watch again. #1 on iTunes for over a month. pretty sure you could find it bootlegged somewhere but Dr. Greer is the only guy even breaching the subject so I like to contribute.

More on this, as it tears down one of the "reasons" for lying about the shape of the Earth.

So many FE tards put forth the reason for the lie being to siphon money through the "budget" for NASA. Yet that budget is laughably small compared to what is available for military projects, or even just basic urban development projects. The Office of HUD gets in five years what NASA gets in 50, and BOTH are dwarfed by the budget for the military.

With all these funds disappearing from the military budget, why on Earth would anyone invent this massive conspiracy and a wholly fraudulent agency and hundreds of faked pictures and videos and stage rocket launches - all for a tiny fraction of what they are already getting just by saying "Oops, no idea where that 10 billion dollars went. Sorry."

Its all going to the off-the-books hidden technology.

The technology exists TODAY to END POVERTY and END OUR OIL DEPENDANCE in exchange for NEARLY FREE "zero-point" energy.

Money doesn't fabricate resources. Universal healthcare is indeed fundable, but that doesn't mean we'd actually get decent coverage. Remember that when hospitals first formed, before they discovered microbes, they became a breeding ground for disease. The degree to which money and more funding can actually help any given endeavor is an issue subject to complex analysis.

$4k toilet seat is grossly exaggerated. Probably just more abuse on part of the contractor.

$600 makes for a very nice coffee maker. Probably an espresso machine - really nice ones go into the thousands.

$300 muffins. This is actually ballpark for large offices, though it depends on the volume and occasion. I found the last office in which I was working spent nearly $800/month on snack room junk food.

Its when you look at technology expenses that the abuse becomes more obvious.

For example:

$50k 4L glass vacuum chamber & base (just a fucking glass bowl - costs less than 0.1% of that to make)
$10k turbomolecular vacuum pump + backup pump & tubing
$25k high voltage power supply
$200k Tek 4Ghz oscilloscope (I shit you not)
$1M 8M^3 custom steel vacuum chamber & cryostat (fucking nickel & dime mfg all the way to the lab)
$80M 6 axis CNC machine, nothing fancy (normally about $1M, but nobody seems to care)
$5M for computing equipment and installation in a 10 seat office. Just a bunch of mid-tier Dell workstations.

I can go on and on...

easy tiger, we're on the same team.
If I remember correctly, the $300/muffin figure was from an Obama-era meeting. 6 muffins for $300 i think?

Our points are the same. There is a gross mis-allocation of resources by our government, and it is done intentionally.

>>19348543
tru dat. I'll bite.
US healthcare costs are estimated at $49T over the next decade ($4.9T/yr). Switching to a single-payer, Medicare-For-All system, as proposed by the main man Bernie himself, would cost about $31T over the next decade ($3.1T/yr).
We already ration care, in our current system, we perform whats called a "wallet biopsy" by those in the industry. We figure out what kind of insurance they have, probe their financial assets, etc. and give the best care to the highest bidder. In a non-profit, single-payer system, care is rationed in order to give the best care to those who need it most.
In other words: if you are scheduled an elective procedure IE getting your ears sewn after stretching them with "gauges" during adolescence, you will have to wait a considerable amount of time so that the 26-year-old mother and her 2 kids can be seen immediately when they are involved in a car accident caused by a drunk driver ignoring a stop sign.

Its the only system that makes sense, IMHO.
Of course, I am always open to new ideas.

Unless you want a picture to disprove a globe, then there's never an illusion and the Earth will always be flat in a pic.

The direction of geometric 3D of 2D(flat plane).
Same as our downwards, deep underground.
The deeper you go the higher density everything is.
At some point the density is so high the solid matter begins to crash and break, by that releasing energy and heat, and by that melting less solid matter(creating magma).

Because they both face close to same resistance which is extremely low; less, to almost no, buoyancy; movement, speed rate and direction are the same.
So they just move towards the geometric 2D direction; downwards. (Because of the difference in geometric space itself)

Use facts of processes of nature and understand how geometry works, to analyze it, its simple O.o

>>19349052
Simply the difference in geometric properties.
It works through heat/cold/electomagnetism etc..

To explain it better:
Logic of it in geometric terms is,
The limiting of space/density by volume, and the connecting "line" between 2D and 4D, is the z-axis of 3D.
The less 'z'(of z-axis), the less potential space(/volume), the higher density.
z=0 means pure 2D(flat surface; x, y axes)
z=∞(infinity) means pure 4D(space)

Density = mass/volume (definition of density)
OR, rearranging,
mass = density x volume = constant.
If density goes down, then volume must go up (to keep the mass constant)
If volume goes down, then density must go up (to keep the mass constant)

Pure 4D is (z=∞)+(x=∞)+(y=∞)

An Infinite Flat Plane Realm.

You would have found that the water has a magnetic property, which makes it possible for water to stick on the globe.

>>
>>19349237

From where?
>>
>>19349104
>>19349152
>>19349167

The geometric logic configuration is,
Singularity(1-D) -> Density(1d>2d>3d), Surface/Plane(2-D), Form(3-D) -> Expansion(3d>4d) -> Space(4-D) -> Deepening(4d>1d).
Lower density will expand, higher density will solidify.
The higher you go, the lower the density.
The lower you go, the higher the density
If you keep moving higher you will reach a layer in which you keep moving at the same spot unable to proceed any higher, then if by impossible means you still keep going up into 4D(Space) then you will deepen into a 1D(Singularity) like a black hole.
If you keep going lower, you will be eventually crushed into 2D, then if by impossible means you still keep going down then you will be deepening/crushed and turned into the layer of space(turn into 4D) of the 1D. Which makes you unable to go higher in the first example.

Isn't this the same argument you globeshills make with the sun rays?

The curve is supposed to be 8(miles squared)
or
8in.(distance in miles^2)

Which means to take the square root of the distance traveled in miles and then multiply that figure by eight inches.

So for example, if you traveled one mile, the formula would look something like this;

8(1×1) = 8 Inches of total curvature

And for the first ten miles traveled of curvature in inches…

8(1×1) = 8 Inches of total curvature
8(2×2) = 32 Inches of total curvature
8(3×3) = 72 Inches of total curvature
8(4×4) = 128 Inches of total curvature
8(5×5) = 200 Inches of total curvature
8(6×6) = 288 Inches of total curvature
8(7×7) = 392 Inches of total curvature
8(8×8) = 512 Inches of total curvature
8(9×9) = 648 Inches of total curvature
8(10×10) = 800 Inches of total curvature

See that's the fun thing about Physics, its demonstratable. If he was a professor of history or something then yeah, he could be regurgitating what he's been told. But a professor of physics has done the experiments, worked through the formulas himself. Formulas are discovered as much as they're created and in truly learning them and understanding them you essentially rediscover them for yourself.

The fun thing about flat earthers is that they have a response for every argument, but none of them are backed by anything.

>>
>>19350202

This is not really true. Physics through bachelors just covers everything up to 1900's and then goes takes a sharp left toward relativity and quantum mechanics.

Afterwards, in grad school ...you pick a pigeonhole speciality and work on this specific topic. Then you defend that one topic. And then you get a PhD. Congrats, you can now teach "physics" at college. Experimentation and repeated experiments ...hrmm lets just say the bias is always with "THIS IS GOING TO WORK BECAUSE HISTORY" ...and then when that specific experiment doesn't work ...you tweak it to fit the data. yeah. It also doesn't get any funding...cause you know...capitalism.

I lean towards believing in round earth but I have trouble believing in the spinning part.

One thing that seems to be inconsistent is this claim that a Foucault Pendulum proves a spinning globe by being fixed relative to the distant masses of the universe while Earth rotates underneath it but if I ascend in a hot air balloon I am allegedly carried along in the 'bubble' of the atmosphere and the Earth does not rotate underneath me. Why isn't the pendulum carried along by this same "bubble"?

HAPPENING
FREAKY NEW BILL PASSED THE SENATE!!!
S.722 - Countering Iran's Destabilizing Activities Act of 2017 is far more about Russia than Iran, & on top of that, makes the President a punishable slave of the system!
I don't know how crap like this even gets written, but it passed with a majority of 98 percent in the Senate. If it does pass the house & then get ratified, it may result in a hot war against Russia.
It pretends to be about Iran, don't let it fool you. Only the first 25 percent of the bill says anything about Iran at all. After the first 25 percent or so (which is long all by itself) it then calls Russia a supporter of Iran, & goes on an extended enormous rant about how Russia literally needs to be cut off from the rest of the world financially and economically, because "Russia provides support to Iran".
There is no explanation whatsoever for why Russia needs to be punished for "supporting Iran" because if there was, Iran would have to be mentioned at least once in the Russian section!
Why would a bill written to punish Iran, & titled to punish Iran & in the summary talk only about Iran in fact be mostly about Russia once read? Obviously they are trying to pull the wool over everyone's eyes with this!
The bill is also mostly about usurping Presidential powers, & forcing the President to do a heck of a lot of work to make this bill happen. It says right at the beginning that it is not about usurping Presidential powers, but all through the bill the President is physically ordered to do this & that. I did not think the Prez could be ordered to do anything at all, but this bill makes the President look like a crud scraping employee. Read it though. You will quickly realize that the only appropriate response from Iran and Russia would be world war 3.

The gist of it is that earth rotates eastward, more or less in line with the orbits around the sun. It is rare for something to come from outside of our solar system perpendicular to the orbits of the planet's around the sun, and the solar system around the center of the galaxy, so having debris cross this way is pretty unlikely, if not statistically impossible.

I came up with another rebuttal that flat earthers need to explain (if not already, posting while fresh in my mind, haven't read new replies since last night).
With pic related (flat map), if you want to "circumvent" Antarctica in a plane, you would travel south (is there south on flat earth map?) and, say, turn left, you would have to bank left for roughly twice the known circumference of the global earth (one estimate from a quick g-search is about 69,000 miles).
Whereas globe related, head south to Antarctica, turn left, then bank right for roughly 10k - 16k miles to get back where you started the loop.
Anyone wanna take a shot?

Someone explain why the every government around the world would agree on a difficult, large scale operation to hide the flatness of the earth from the general public. Someone explain how a flat earth works with gravity. Someone explain live gps footage of the earth from space, in which every second of footage is unique.
>>
>>19355631
in a sense, this would explain travelling THROUGH poles, exept for the fact that everything would obviously be fucking BACKWARDS when you get to the "otherside" you have depicted.
This doesn't explain the "banking the wrong way" phenomenon that would be presented in a flat earth system.

You are aware that the image you replied to disproves flat earth? The "three times as far" image is what flat earthers believe Earth to look like - our land masses centered around the North Pole and the Antarctic is the white ring at th edge. The top image with the flight paths proves that both the northern and southern HEMISPHERES are roughly the same circumference since it takes the same amount of time to cross.

Have you ever been driving in the winter and seen exhaust coming out of a car on the highway? It appears to hover next to the tailpipe and stay with the car even when its going 60+ on a highway. This is because the exaust leaves the tailpipe at a very slow speed, but the tailpipe was moving 60+ with the car, so the exaust is also moving 60+ as it comes out.

The same applies to the smoke stack and everything else on earth, if this was not the case, the earth would be spinning too fast for anyone to stand or build anything on it.

>>
>>19346275
OP meant he was BTFO. Kek.
>>
>>19359520
nuh

Here's a little lesson for ya:
If I'm on that train and I jump several inches upwards I LOSE a fraction of my forward momentum and land a very tiny distance behind where I jumped from UNLESS I was self-propelling, in which case I would land where (or even in front of where) I started from.

Now imagine for a moment that the train's ceiling was over 20 miles high and I could jump upwards 20 miles. Excluding other forces (such as wind, etc.) and the train continues its relative velocity would you not expect me to lose forward momentum? Your scenario indicates that I would land in the exact spot I jumped from but that is false because of something called density.
I would not be pushed forward by the air in the train because I AM HEAVIER THAN THE AIR!

you know when your video taping something and you need to reference something for size, you lay out a grid like this.

when your taping something highspeel and you need to reference something for size, you need to lay out a ruler or grid

its not a bluescreen - its a grid - you can watch the video where he is doing tricks with water in zero g - this is the screen he is doing it infront of so that they can have references for size

in the second video his foot obviously hits the bottom and gets stuck while the rest of him continues to fall based on that

there are SO many videos where you can see them do literally everything in zero g this type of cherry picking videos that look odd is pathetic
