Does anyone know the truth of Codex Seraphinianus? Is it just manic fantastical concept or a legitimate encyclopaedia of a reality different from our own? Asking for a friend.

I'm guessing OP has confused the Codex with its real life inspiration, the Voynich manuscript.

Eye at pineal gland, hexagon at neck/jaw, 'spirals' on clothes, and I think the birds & fish have something to do with substantia nigra.

What about the tree tongue?
>>19346384
Don't know, maybe about the creative nature of speech?
>>19344294
It's a tribute to the Voynich Manuscript bruh
this thread reminds me
i swear there was this book mentioned here that had like thousands of pages of these really weird drawings. the art style was kinda like a children's book and i'm pretty sure there was a whole storyline behind it despite the massive length (the thing about it being thousands of pages long is not hyperbole)
i can't for the life of me remember what it was called, and i'm super super interested in reading it but i don't think i wrote down the name anywhere. does anyone know what i'm talking about?
>>19347957
I think so. It was done by some shut-in from like Brazil? Some elaborate fantasy done out of magazine clippings and crayon. I don't remember his name either. I tried Google, I just don't have enough to go on.

Henry Darger.

I have a copy of this amazing book. The "cheap" double volume one. It's neither more nor less "awakened" than the Unifactor/Jim dream comics of the great shaman/cartoonist Jim Woodring. Make of that what you will. You get the best appreciation of both artists if you switch off certain "circuits" in the mind....browsing on phone in bed so I don't have my scans from both artists, will post if anyone's interested and this thread is still live this afternoon. ...

Could be Darger, with Anon saying Brazil tho' I'm thinking it may be the Brazilian ayylmao guy who wrote on his walls and kept diaries in a code /made up language. Brainscratch did a vid about him and I've seen a few threads on here about him, he went missing, I believe.

Fictional, but I like the art.

What do you mean by "cheap?"
When I looked into buying this book, the price was in the triple digits.
And please post scans please please
