I'm thinking of getting a ouija board to try and confirm once and for all if theres a ghostie in my apartment.
Spooks happen every so often.

Any input for me about this idea? Maybe how to/tips to keep things from getting out of hand?
>>
If you want paranormal activity to quadruple, then yeah sure.
Here are some tips if you suddenly get your brain working while performing the ritual.

>if the lens is moving in a 8 shape, it's trying to free its self. Stop the ceremony by moving the lens to goodbye
>don't ask when you die, most of the demons see it as a challenge
>there are no spirits, only demons pretending to be spirits to get your trust
>don't ask it to give you a sign, this will essentially open the portal to your world wider
>ALWAYS say goodbye

Goodluck famalam, do it with multiple friends. Solo will get you possesed
>>
>using Ouija to confirm ghosts
Don't you have a voice recorder, or a camera? Why not try EVP or recording the hotspots in your apartment?

What spooks happen to you? There should be plenty of investigation you can do that doesn't resort to board games.
>>

Thanks for the response.
I don't want the activity to increase at all, I just want a confirmation that something is or is not here.
Right now the "activity" if thats what it is, is slow. Sometimes weeks go by and nothing strange happens. Sometimes 2 or 3 things in as many days.
I'd like to keep it that way. Is it a guarantee that doing this will be essentially like whacking a hornets nest?
I dont want to ask it any questions about me, I understand it isn't a fuckin fortune teller. I'd like to ask questions about it.
So, don't ask it to turn on a light or move an object or make a noise? If all it's okay for it to do is move the planchette over letters thats just fine with me.
>there are no spirits, only demons pretending to be spirits to get your trust
So if there really is *something* in my home, it's 100% a demon and nothing else?
As for saying goodbye, does the goodbye need to be mutual, or is it like me hanging up the phone on someone?
I intend to do it with 1 other person only. Is that okay?

>>19329333
>Don't you have a voice recorder, or a camera? Why not try EVP or recording the hotspots in your apartment?
Naw, I know people who allegedly have way more activity than me trying to go about it that way, and it takes months to get even a second of action captured typically.
My supposed activity is so minimal it'd probably be downright fruitless. Or at least not worth living with cameras and microphones set up for weeks, filtering through hours of recording every day.
If ouija is highly recommended against, end of story, and if the activity spikes at all in the future, I might go down that avenue.

I know of people**

And as for spookers,
>bedroom door closes and locks itself
>bathroom door closes or opens itself (hasn't locked itself tho)
>things get knocked off desks/shelves (only lightweight things, not ever anything substantial enough to even make a thud), some objects repeatedly until they are moved
>breaker trips frequently - only one breaker that cuts power to my bedroom, hallway, bathroom
We tried unplugging a bunch of electronics - we didn't have much plugged in in our room in the first place but we figured its an old building, couldn't hurt. Still happens.
Also entire building frequently loses power. The whole town actually is prone to short power outages, but this building will go dark when the rest of the neighborhood is fine sometimes, just our building affected.
>small, inane objects going missing and then reappearing where we already looked for them or in the spot where they normally get put away

Nothing particularly exciting I'm afraid.

Except a couple months ago I was sleeping during the day, I work nights you see, and I was just starting to wake up naturally. I reached for my phone to check the time and as I did so a voice said one, one syllable word, immediately my phone alarm went off so I switched that off and kind of sat there listening for a minute.
The voice didn't have a source and it was about the volume of a hoarse whisper. I can't remember what the word was now but I remember not being able to guess what it could mean. Seemed random really, whatever it was.

Anyway, so far really nothing to write home about.

>i'm gurl hab pain in past, i wan peace plis help me

Demons try to make you empathize em so you open up and they can do whatever the hell they want with you.
Doing with 1 other person is okay, just note that one of you will get spooked after the session. So there is a 50/50 chance.
I'm actually in the mountains of morocco living with a djinn, i have total control of it. Sometimes i get plagued by this demon 'aysha kandaysha' but my guide (imam zaki) has helped me through. If you want to i can give you verses to protect yourself and 1 super simple ritual. (I've seen a lot of shit here, super spooky)
I can ask zaki about the ouiji board if you want me to
>>
>>19329373
Bah, I have a hard enough time empathizing with the living. I think it'll be okay.
And sorry, I think I don't quite understand "50/50 chance" of what?
And sure, any info you can share about, like I say, keeping shit from getting wild afterward, would be appreciated.
>>
>>19329346
>If ouija is highly recommended against, end of story, and if the activity spikes at all in the future, I might go down that avenue.
My thoughts against it aren't quite the same as the other person, really. I honestly think the "it's demons" argument is idiotic. I just think Ouija boards aren't really anything but the ideomotor effect at work. The subconscious moving the planchette.

But yeah, I think you shouldn't have to worry unless it gets worse. Ignoring it should be enough for now. If it is a demon, attention will make it worse, but if it is in fact a ghost, there's probably no sense in stirring it up anyway.

>>19329370
Could be worth looking into some of your troubles though. Doors often move about due to drafts or not being entirely level, you can check those out easily. Breaker could be faulty wiring, I would suggest getting an electrician to check it out.

Lost items could be simple misplacement, but the lock and knocked objects are harder for me to figure out (I mean, you could have mice, but that doesn't explain the lock). May very well be something.

Have you looked into the history of the building? How old do you suppose it is? Anyone you can ask about previous tenants having similar experiences? I wish I knew how to actually investigate the history of a building. City planning or library or something, I haven't quite hit that part of investigating hauntings.

>>19329373
Don't be a bitch.
>>
>>19329373
>>19329328
Ooh, another good question. Can I ask it things like, "what color is the object in my hand?" and things like that? Someone in another thread just mentioned asking questions like that during EVP.
>>
>>19329409
>The subconscious moving the planchette
This is a legitimate possibly, for sure. But if thats the case, no harm no foul.

The bathroom door is visibly crooked, opens and closes easily all year, but the bedroom door gets stiffer or looser depending on the season. The wood warps pretty bad. Generally the bedroom door is quite stiff and you have to close it, then pull on it/lean your body into (depending which side you're on) it until it clicks and it won't lock if it doesn't click. The bedroom door will move from pressure changes/drafts but tends to just bump the doorframe without actually closing when that happens.
This whole building is faulty wiring, we're probably the next Grenfell Tower desu senpai. Lost items could indeed be misplacement but there've been some real head scratchers. We've looked all over, and in the same spot 3 times, and then on the 4th time or the day after when we've forgotten about it, there it is, where we already checked more than once. Definitely can't blame the items falling on mice though, as this has happened directly in our unobstructed line of sight multiple times. For example, a cup being knocked with some force off of a standing speaker on a desk. We were standing, and so could see the top and back of the speaker when this happened and truly there was nothing else on there. (speaker was not on/playing any audio so inb4 vibration).

Building probably built in the 70's or 80's. Its not historical or anything. Shitloads of people have come and gone though. Lots of seniors get old and die here (some of whom I knew before they died) or people get cancer and pass away. No idea about anyone who lived in this unit before us though. But we've been here many years and it's only that last year that we've noticed sp00ps. Seems odd and makes me think it doesnt have much to do with previous occupants.
>>
>>19329388
Well forget about the verses, it's ancient arabic and annoyingly hard to pronounce. And zaki told me to better leave the ouiji board in the closet, he said show that you are not afraid of it and that it will fear your balls of steel
>>
>>19329410
I'm not sure, i've never used the board. But i think it's better to play safe and don't ask stuff like that
>>
>>19329409
I just care for other's well-being dude
>>
>>19329409
>>19329434
Or like I say, could just be a series of coincidences and nothings that seem like somethings.
I'm not particularly concerned, I'd just like to know.

I lived in a house for many years before this that was clearly haunted af, no ouija necessary, and it was never a problem. Nothing malicious going on here either, so I'm not real worried what comes of this.

>>19329443
It doesn't seem aggressive or anything, if there is an "it." Gotta say I didn't particularly care for the whispered word in my ear though. Wish I could remember what it said. Started with "F" and had an "S" in the middle. Like "frost" but probably wasn't "frost." Something like that.

>>19329450
It would just be neat to have proof of sentience but I can do without if thats what you advise.

One proactive step I have taken:
My mother in law likes to move things around the house, always bringing in new furniture, getting rid of other furniture. The first week things started was the most intense it's actually been - really died down since the start. That was when once or twice a day we'd find our door closed and locked or whatever.
Anyways I happened to be browsing /x/ and saw someone talking about focus points around the house and i've always been feng shui concious (don't like the feet of the bed to face the door, don't like mirrors facing eachother) and it made me think..... So I got up and had a glance around and the mum in law had placed a mirror on the hallway wall directly adjacent to the bathroom mirror. Two focus points. Additionally, along the wall in our room, two computers which are LARGE focus points here. It formed a "T" of energy, or even a cross if you count the slightly mis-aligned front door (also a focus point). Made her move the mirror out of superstition and then things slowed down a bit. If anyone thinks there might be some relevance to the furniture placement/energy flow idea I could draw a sketch.
>>
>>19329462
Don't get me wrong tho, if you don't give a shit about scary stuff happening, do it. Would be a cool story to tell future friends, also it's better to do it with 4 people (shits and giggles)
>>
>>19329487
Well I mean the whole point is to get a reaction but then afterwards if like for things not to escalate to full blown Amityville. I'd prefer to keep it just the two of us to keep things a controlled experiment. Any outside influences could result in a dickhead discretely fucking around for lulz.
>>
>>19329495
I'd like**
>>
>>19329495
Well, there is a small chance you can get a reaction and nothing happens afterwards. But it's a gamble
I mean you can minimize the risk of shit escalating by
>cutting the board in 7 pieces after and burrying every piece in a different spot
>DO NOT burn the board, it fuels the demon
>always say hello and goodbye
>don't ask stuff that is too personal
>treat the demon as an unsafe stranger

They tend to gain people's trust faster since "i'm an old farm girl jezebel please help me i've been here for 100000 years"
Don't forget demons are jealous of us, we can breathe, eat and love. They do not like us.
And it'simportant to realize it is trying to contact you, demons don't do that stuff for shits and giggles.
It does not like you+it's trying to contact you=bad news
>>
>>19329527
So the shenanigans are definitely attempts to gain our attention/ communicate and there's no chance it's something other than a demon, like a dead relative or someone who died in the building? And any idea what may have caused it to start considering we were here several years with nothing out of the ordinary except bizarre neighbors?
>>
>>19329557
One time we were tidying up in the kitchen chatting and paused, and could hear someone whisper yelling against the door in the hall. It didn't build and fade in volume like someone walking and talking to themselves. We both froze and looked at each other and listened for a moment. Then opened the door and no one was there. The door at the very end of the hall was just swinging shut. It was a grown man saying "I love you Mommy, I love you Mommy," furiously over and over again.

Apartments are creepy places to live. Anyways I gotta crash. Thanks for the input. Will report back eventually.

Occultists typically cast something they call 'a circle' when performing a ritual to protect themselves, acting like a guarded door letting only what is desired in.
Using an ouiji board does class as a form of ritual in occultism. What I've been told is that you can speak to the spirits but the ritual attracts a lot of attention from nasty entities I say entities because allegedly human spirits can also be nasty.
Some demons aren't evil at all, I've never heard of a good one but they apparently range from demented psychopaths to pretty much just salesmen (I'll protect your house in exchange for energy etc shit like that).
Also occultists have stressed that if you want to contact one there is no time to browse you must be certain of what you want and committed to it because they don't like to be screwed around and waste time.
>>
>>19329295
Been there, done that. Doesn't work...
>>
>>19329557
I mean we don't know a lot about other planes of existence, but zaki told me it's better to not take any chances. He told me a story about what he calls "djnah".
He says paranormal stuff happens all the time up here.
I'll post some real stories to keep the thread alive.

>be zaki
>student to become imam and excorsist specialist
>teachers won't let zaki experience
>rationalthoughts.jpg
>are djinns even real wtf ?
>2 other classmates have the same thoughts
>fuck it.
>let's try to contact one
>no ouiji board
>it's okay we are creative
>1 plastic cup
>1 long stick of coal
>piece of paper
Step 1: poke hole through the bottom of the cup
Step 2: place coal in the hole
step 3: flip cup and place it on the piece of paper
>tada
>"slm kajnin shi djinns mhana?"
>cup moves slowly, they can't see what has been written yet because of the cup
>"shkoen mhana?"
>after a while the cup moves
>they see "shhkoen ntoema" poorly written
>"hnaja zaki, B, C"
>"hlash heyatli"
>"i bghina nshoefoe ila kajnin shi djinns mhana, smahlina mahbhginash nhasbouk"
>coal started to move fast and spin under the cup
>bottom of the cup starts to get hot and burn a little bit
>n.o.p.e.webm
>they nope the fuck out
>classmate B: found dead salamanders and snakes in his bed
>classmate C: sleep paralysis, 8ft tall black humanoid with goat horns tried to take his hand
>zaki: on his way home he saw the same figure 30ft away, ran as fast as he could

All 3 of them received weird black sticks to burn, they released some weird scent. I don't know why. Want the story of aysa khandaysha ?
>>
>>19329295
>>>19329557
I forgot the translation, sorry.
>>"slm kajnin shi djinns mhana?"
"Hello, are there any djinns with us?"

"Who is with us"
>>"shhkoen ntoema"
"Who are you"
>>"hnaja zaki, B, C"
"We are zaki, B, C"
>>"hlash heyatli"
"Why did you call me"
>>"i bghina nshoefoe ila kajnin
shi djinns mhana, smahlina mahbhginash nhasbouk"
"We just wanted to see if there were any djinns with us, sorry we didn't mean to make you angry"
