anyone have any advice on starting a cult? even if you havent

just read literally any book about famous cults. if your reading comprehension is good, you should be able to pick up what it was that they did that made the cult successful (to whatever extent it was so).

Prometheus Rising has a lot of information on how to rewire someones personality. I suggest you read it. Apply those techniques to shape your minions to your liking. Aside from that, it's a charisma and confidence game. You gotta be larger than life, give people something that dipshit are always looking for whether it be inner peace, or a purpose, or whatever hogwash you can shit out that sounds good to idiots. Always ask for tithes and donations to 'expand the cause', and use females to fuck + lure men in for indoctrination. Use the men as manual labor, use the women as fuckpuppets and a dangling carrot for the men. Start a compound, have them grow food/produce trinket bullshit for sale at things like roadside markets. Just gotta learn how to spin shit and mindslave people. Running a cult is really, really, really fuckin easy.

Premise - All souls are manifestations of an "oversoul" that incarnates as individual people and can be accessed by "sensitive" people like writers.

Implications/Selling points -
1."Your waifu is real and you can connect with her though meditation" (Bring in tulpas here)
2. "You aren't a schlub wasting your life! You literally ARE your favorite fictional character!"
3. "You are special and unique because you create art, even if it's shitty, you are bringing form to an oversoul in this world"
