Hey /x/,
So this is something my husband and I are trying to figure out.
He keeps waking up with these strange red marks on his back in seemingly the same area, in a perfect formation.
I'm sure someone has talked about these here before because when we look up any info about it all we can find is "aliums" or "you slept on the remote" lol
Funny thing is, much like other people's experiences with this, there is nothing in our house that could leave this impression on his skin, much less one he wouldn't notice leaning against that'd result in what is seemingly such a deep bruise.

I say bruise because that's what it looks like up close, like blood has been brought to the surface through suction the same way a hickey would look?
The bruises don't hurt though and they don't fade normally either, they tend to just fade in severity and disappear.
Whereas a normal bruise would fade from purple, to red, then browny, yellow, greenish etc...

Does anyone have any idea what this could be?
Pic is obviously my husbands back but I'll be bumping the thread with pictures of others' marks too that I've found online with source attached.

We'd love some insight into this!

Has anyone had this happen to them? I don't think it's contagious since we sleep in the same bed and I've never had anything like it. He's only started getting these this year. I'm worried it might mean he's sick even though he seems otherwise very healthy. Likewise for the other people in the pictures.

I have the same kind of grid marks on my body they are on my thigh. It happened one time two months ago and not its back and bigger than before I dont know how they got there but last time it stayed for about a week, went to take a shower last night and hubby goes woah what is that? its got an extra ring and a line compared to before. This is really the only site that has anything about these kind of markings. the center is a circle surrounding the circle is another circle with like two pie pieces missing and then a line above that. who really knows what it is but im not wasting time at the doctors for them to tell me its nothing and to go home. Who knows really if its aliens, thats weird they would put markings on people and send them home its really hard to say. I have never really herd of markings lasting about a week unless its a bruise, but hey im not a doctor or anything."

Seems too weird to write off as a fungal infection or bedbugs of some kind. Neither would be so precise and leave bruises rather than red spots or a rash, I would think. Unless someone knows some rare species that could? Does it happen with perfectly clean bedsheets? If he were allergic to the detergent he'd have way more problems on a more widespread area. It's bizzare that it's so focused in one particular spot.

I wouldn't imagine your husband is sleeping on a shower drain's cover that's mysteriously and inexplicably in your bed, at least not without noticing it lol

Yeah exactly haha, and it seems that these marks only really happen to people on one localised spot typically on the back just left or right of the spine...
The only thing I can think of that shares a similar thread with other stories is it noticed upon waking and others have had trouble sleeping.
My husband doesn't remember his dreams but he is a tooth grinder and at times it wakes me up and I have to hold his face to stop him grinding his teeth so hard. But he never really says anything about nightmares or sleep paralysis etc

Here's another photo from another persons experience..

Produced by uv light? Or should we look at it under uv light?

I don't know where we'd get a uv light... I mean he works in a lab so.. not sure if they have them there?
One thing I did ask was whether he saw anything strange on his way home from work, as they appeared after he woke from finishing a night shift. He said nothing strange had happened.

Obiously this must be a real phenomenon if there's a lot of people reporting cases of it happening to them

The fuck

"In 1967, known as the Falcon Lake Incident, Stephen Michalak examined an unidentified circular aircraft, before it blasted a hot gas at him, creating the rectangular grid pattern seen below on his abdomen. He was prospecting at the time, searching for earth minerals in the Jack Pine woods of Whiteshell Provincial Park at Falcon Lake. Around noon, his inspection of his latest find of a quartz vein was interrupted by the sound of geese and a pair of red cigar-shaped objects in the sky."

1 - person leans or sleeps upon a corrugated surface or drain
2 - this leaves subtle damage to the capillaries in the skin
3 - an allergic reaction takes place
4 - the histamine reaction in concert with the damaged capillaries creates a symmetrical pattern of hives
>>
>>19317006
But providing the subject doesn't do the first step... what then is your explanation?
By that theory, you'd think a lot more people would realise they have an allergic reaction to drains..
>>
>>19317006

Read the OP dipshit, she said there's nothing in their house that could have caused this pattern to be imprinted onto him, and obviously he would have noticed if he was leaning or sleeping on something like that.

Hmm yeah we could do that. I guess I just never really gave much thought to aliens in general. I usually come on here to read everything but UFO related stories.
Abductions generally don't make much sense to me, with the loss of time, returning the subject etc but I guess that'd be because I haven't looked into it.
I guess what's most confusing about it is it just appeared after going about our daily lives, nothing out of the norm.
Some people have reported the same marks since becoming interested in UFO's I'd noticed.

OPs story is interesting and I want to know if anything comes of it. Do any of your families have alien abduction stories? I hear they like to follow bloodlines.
>>
>>19317333
Hmm not my family otherwise I'd know.. Except my Grandparents said they saw a cigar shaped aircraft dart across the horizon in the early morning once.
And otherwise, my husbands family doesn't have as as far as I'm aware.
However, my father in law (his dad) worked in the air-force for a long time and is very straight forward kinda guy, doesn't like talking about aliens apparently which isn't too weird.
We were watching stuff about aliens a few weeks ago though and my husband went into the lounge to show my in-laws this one video about the Canadian minister of defence confirming the existence of aliens etc. (I'm sure you guys know it, if not I'm happy to link)
They both seemed uncomfortable though, didn't acknowledge anything to do with it and just changed the topic. Which is not too unusual but we thought it was a weird reaction for them.
Idk, something may have happened in the air force? I hear it's not uncommon for air force workers to encounter weird stuff.

Has he gone to see a dermatologist?
Keep your sheets clean. Wash yourselves.
If all else fails you can go see a sleep disorder specialist. It's probably nothing and you shouldn't worry about it, but have it checked out anyway.
>>
>>19317448
Yeah that's what I thought too. And my husband being my husband won't let an itch, burn or sting go unreported, ever haha. If there's something wrong or mildly health related I'm the first to know about it and hear about it for a week. We just have no idea what this is and there seems to be nothing conclusive online about it at all.
>>
>>19317449
Nah, I'm not sure how much a dermatologist would cost here in the US either..
Our sheets are washed mostly weekly and we shower sometimes twice daily.
Cheers I'll mention it to him, though he doesn't seem bothered by it at all.
There's no chance it could be side effects of a tick bite??

Id suggest seeing a hypnotherapist, maybe finding one who specializes in abduction and finding out what turns up. If this is a common occurrence this phenomenon isn't going to go away and you're gonna have to deal with it for the rest of your life. If you have children the best thing you can do to protect them is seeking hypnotherapy, for some reason this helps abductees maintain lucidity during experiences.

Those are just marks from leaning against something for too long. Nothing to see here.

Coincidentially I actually had some marks I couldnt explain. 2 on the left arm and 2 on the right arm in the exact sam spot.
They looked like small punch biopsies, the upper layer of skin was missing (5mm diameter 1cm apart of eachother) so it seems unlikely that they were just insect bites.

Maybe this is unrelated, but I'll post here anyways. So I woke up one morning with this red line right down the center of my forehead. My instant thought was that maybe I slept on something, but there is literally nothing I could have slept on. I checked my bed--just a blanket, a pillow, and me. Next I thought maybe I slept on my hand, but I mean....I NEVER do that. The thought of my hands near my face when I sleep is greasy and gross and even in my waking hours I make a point of never touching my face without washed hands. That being said, I have had imprint marks on my face from sleeping weird, but never like this. I'm claustrophobic so I would never sleep face down, and even if I did, someone must have knocked me unconscious because my body would've never stayed in a position like that. It was weird. The mark stayed there for weeks before it disappeared. Waiting for it to happen again....

Maybe your fucking mi has skin as tender ad a grape and your mattress is worn in a certain spot his body settles into while he sleeps. Also, have you done the uv light thing? Until you get done with that, being the only lead that is quantifiable, don't settle for otherworldly beings being interested in repeatedly branding you for small amounts of time.

I actually don't want to hear about aliens. I've had a phobia of aliens for as long as I can remember but I'm trying to keep and open mind. Like I've said, I kinda don't want to do a trail cam just because fuck that shit I'd rather not know.
My point for this thread is hoping someone's debunked it previously as just "whatever ailment". I keep passing on logical explanations mentioned here because husb and I have already ran through them all and a lot of them simply aren't consistent with the symptoms or lack thereof.
We haven't done the UV light and I'm not sure where we'd get one.. he says there aren't UV lights at his work to his knowledge.
I'd rather not settle for otherworldly beings honestly but I'll take otherworldly beings as an explanation rather than my husband being gravely ill. Which doesn't seem to be the case so. Yeah.
>>19320823
It could be but he only has one allergy and there isn't any brazil nuts on our mattress and we stay far away from them.
>>19320851
That's strange. I also told my family about it as they work in medical fields and thought they'd have some answers. They had no idea what it could be but my sister said she had a friend in school who used to get them on her arm and nobody knew what it was.

Anyway, remember how I said this is the second time? I KNEW I took a photo of the first time on his phone. I found it this morning and sent it to myself. Turns out it wasn't a few months ago but a few weeks ago. This photo was taken around the 20th last month (from what I remember the date saying on his iPhone).
>>
>>19320979

Also that brown mark towards his right shoulder is a scar that he has no recollection obtaining either. Along with another incision looking scar on his right hip. He is a pretty active person though and puts it down to scars from falling over on gravel or something and the one on his hip as probably some kinda gouge from something.
Still though, I feel like if I had noticeable scars I'd remember how I got them. But of course I would since I'm not an overly active person.
>>
Also just as ANOTHER update. I downloaded an app called "Sleep Talk" and let it run last night. It didn't pick up anything at all.
And I snore so I thought that'd at least come up on it.
What would be really interesting, is if these marks come up again around the 20th of next month. We said we're going to start documenting it properly so I may make another thread in future.

You have dermatitis and or a several skin allergies. See what type of soap, shampoo and cleaning suplies you use in your laundry. I once woke up with marks that seemed like I was in a polstergeist shit or a tiger attacked me in the night inside my room, in the end I had a fucking severe allergic reaction to mites, that even a soft scratched looked like some claws marked me. Even tight clothes would leave me marks with patterns.
>>
>>19322498
You did?

Did they specify what type of bugs? I sleep in the same bed and don't have them which is strange.

>>19322625
We have a layer of foam between us and the mattress and the mattress is pretty new, it probably has springs but i can't feel them. If it were the mattress you'd think I'd have the marks too and they also wouldn't be localised to such a small spot on the back.

>>19322547

They're the nasty ones right?
>>
>>19322665

>>
>>19322681
Is not strange, it happened few years ago, if was pretty strange, I avoided wearing jeans for a while because my skin was really sensitive. They give me shots of corticoids for five days. Also, at first I just didn't take it seriously, but when I randomly scratched my forehead and my dad told me it looked like I used a knive to do that, I went to the doctor. Grab a toothpick and scratch with a little pressure in your arm and see if the skin becomes inflamed too easily. That's first hint.

Generally aliums spook me silly but you have my interest.

Oh okay, well his skin definitely isn't as sensitive as mine (temporary red marks will appear on my skin from just scratching or applying pressure) but I'll ask him to do the scratchy thing and see if anything happens.

Dammit
>>
>>19322772
Hmmm that's strange, sounds more like a reaction or bug bite? These lay flat. Almost under the skin. Like a hickey would look, but without any swelling that usually accompanies bruises.

Ok I'll tell you what it is

A person or a demon is doing it

Researching hard enough on the patterns and you might just find it to be a sigil

In any case what you need to do is to ward your house, Get baptized pray to christ.
There are priests out there that would gladly come over to your house to cleanse it.
Also Bibels are said to help

If that doesn't work then your last choice is either to move without your neighboors finding out or kill the woman/man doing it

Thanks
And god bless
>>
>>19323702
So what's the point of someone doing this if only to just.. make a mark? You'd think it'd accompany bad luck? Strange behaviour? A haunting?

Also is the pic attached related?
Also I have to kill the person doing it? Haha idk but that doesn't sound like a good idea.
>>
So, I don't know if anyone's reading at this point.
But a new development - my husband and I were talking to his Mum late last night and fishing about his Dad (the bloodline thing). She said that whenever she brings up extraterrestrials he gets all funny and brushes her off.
He also apparently has two scars on his arms that she says "he's had for as long as he can remember and has no recollection of how they got there". I haven't seen or noticed them myself, I don't look that hard at my father in law haha
But we're gonna try to ask to see his arms on the weekend (his working hours make it so we just miss him during week days).
The scars apparently are two perfect horizontal (across the arm not down it) marks on the exact same spot on each arm. That nearly wrap around but not quite. I'll report back when I see them for myself.
>>
still following
>fingers crossed for setting up security cam
>>
>>19317144
More than injecting I am inclined to believe that they are drawing blood. The appearance of the hickey-like markings makes more sense.
Possibly a needleless syringe of sorts.
>>
>>19317423
That is a pattern impressed on skin by a relatively hard object via pressure, heat, suction or other kind of energy.
Too regular to be anything else.
>>
>>19318221
Repeatedly?
>>
>>19316795
Uhhh, scurvy?
>>
Try to ask his father I guess he won't be happy about it but it's his own son, so he should try to help and share his knowledge if he knows anything about it.
Do they appear strictly in the morning? Isn't it possible that he brings it from his workplace? There might be some kind of machine with a grid that emits heat or light in the lab.
>>
>>19325148
Not sure if we'll set up a security cam, honestly. But I am going to keep trying the sleep talk app going. Recorded last night and got nothing again..
>>19325580
That sounds like a possibility. Whatever it is, it seems to be bringing blood to the surface of the skin much like the suction of a hickey. That's what I think makes it different to an impression or bruise.
>>19325626
Haha we eat a lot of fruit, veggies and are pretty healthy in general so I don't think so.
>>19325780
Yeah it's Saturday tomorrow so we'll ask his Dad about it when we remember. We're generally pretty busy on the weekends with having my husband's son over so if we can get some info then I'll definitely update you guys. His Dad's a man of few words however so don't be surprised if he doesn't say much or purposely doesn't make a big deal about it.
I'm not too sure desu. I know that I notice them whenever we wake up and notice they weren't there before we went to sleep if that makes sense. They stick around though. They appeared Sunday I think and it's now Friday and they're just starting to fade.
Could be from his workplace. Though I don't think there's a machine that would do that as it'd have to make the imprint through a lab coat, scrubs and then tshirt but it's all possible. I would think other people in his lab would report a similar thing however.
>>
>>19325812
Temperature can be a factor, see the Livedo Reticularis and other type of dermatitis. Also, if it were some aliums work, with all their tech why would they leave those perfect patterns if they even get the job to do the abduction?
>>
>>19325812
If his father will not be worried about it then it might not be a big deal, I hope he gives you an answer. If he knows anything, that's it.
It's really weird though no normal explanation works. A burn would hurt and sting, if caused by pressure there should be an elevation also it would go away quickly and allergic rash usually itches. Ive never seen a rash so grid-like.
>>
>>19325843
>Livedo Reticularis
Oh that's weird. Sometimes I get that very mild in winter. I'm really pale with bad circulation. I also have Raynaud's Syndrome/Phenomenon in my hands a feet. Neither are much of a worry but it is annoying.
Yeah I don't know either. Maybe they get careless like we all do with repetitive work? haha
>>19325860
Yeah I really wanna know about the scars on his arms though! He's home right now but I'll wait til my husbands home tomorrow to ask him about it. Don't wanna weird him out.
Yeah me neither.. Maybe we aren't supposed to know the answer? But I am very intrigued by it all.

It's simple really, your husband sneaks out at night and allows other men to penetrate his anus. The marks are from bed bugs which come from sleeping in other men's beds. How could you not realize this?

Not sure if this is caused by spirits or something physical as I know of a spiritual called Black Cat Scratch that can cause markings like these.

This youtube video even shows an orb (demon) appearing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OY7FlbXi5lA

I DO NOT RECOMMEND WATCHING IT AS DOING SO COULD ATTRACT DEMONS IN YOUR HOME!

When in doubt, pray to Jesus Christ. Unlike many religions, Christ is pretty much giving out a free offer of salvation. Much of our morals come from the bible and work when executed; no one likes a adulterer, thief, liar, false witness, murderer, and one who hates their caring parents. Exorcism does not require rituals, burning herbs, or materials opposed to other religions, but only the name of Jesus;
All that is required is prayer in his name, he is the alpha and omega.

Last night I got a Nocturnal Leg Cramp on my Left Calf. Trying to help it only worsened the situation. In my desperation I spoke "In the name of Jesus you are healed" for my calf to go back into normal position, I was relieved and surprised.
>>
>>19328851
Somone watch it and let me know if anything spoopy happens. I'll always have christs back if he calls on me but i have no idea if he has mine.

You have mites, the ones the size of a bacteria for example. That's it. I would say for your husband to go to a doc if the marks appear again or don't fade, it can be an allergy or something related to his blood and veins.

Same thing happened to me while visiting my friends family for a weekend in Kentucky. When i returned my girlfriend noticed this on my back. Me and my friend couldnt think of a single thing that could have left the mark (bed, chairs, couches, etc.) Looked it up and all we found was alien shit. Freaked me out for a little bit, but wrote it off as some ocd kentucky bug, even though it didnt itch, and wasnt raised.
