Throughout history who do you believe was a part of the inner circle?
Carl Jung? Socrates?
What do you mean by "inner circle?" Socrates obviously didn't have any real power at the time since he was put to death.

Why's the measure of a man's power how much he does to keep his life?
Socrates was an old man by the time he CHOSE to have his life end.
As for the OP, what's the "inner circle"?

People who know and understand "hidden knowledge". People who can operate outside ordinary consciousness to do extraordinary things. Things learned from some sort of esoteric school connected with the Inner Circle of Humanity.

You're still being ambiguous as hell. What is the object of study of said "hidden knowledge"? And whom is it hidden from?
I'm not nitpicking, but from what you're telling I gather anyone could belong to the 'inner circle' so long as they knew things others didn't? I'm pretty sure I know things others don't, does that make me belong to the inner circle?
