Do you believe in the Wendigo?

I believe there is shit out there that is impossible to empirically prove so we are dependent on witness testimony. And people give different names and backstories for similar paranormal phenomena.

Everyone and their mother on 4chan has seen a wendigo/skinwalker

I believe it was in middle school. All the neighborhood kids and I (maybe 8-10 of us) had just spent the day fucking off in the woods behind my house. It was starting to get dark so we all left the woods and were standing at the head of the large trail behind my house that led up the hill into the woods. We were standing there just talking and starting to say our goodbyes when out of the corner of my eye I see something moving towards the top of the hill. I lool at it and catch a glimpse of something tall and large and lanky with antlers loping across the trail and promptly shit myself. More than half the other kids saw it also, they all mentioned it at about the same time so its not like one of us planted the idea. We were all pretty confused and spooked so we went and tried to do some research. Once we learned about wendigos the shit really hit the fan, the entire school district went nuts. There were kids going out in "hunting parties" with bb guns and shit. Eventually the craze died down and most of them forgot but those of us that saw it clear as day still remember. Im not a superstitious person but that is something i dont think ill ever be able to truly explain. I do not believe in ghosts or demons or monsters, but i do think i believe in the wendigo.
