when you die your body will decompose into the soil providing food for bacteria and nutrients for the surrounding soil to be able to sustain the plant life above. once your body is decomposed and absorbed by trees and grass, animals eat the foliage for them to be able to sustain their own bodies and reproduce. these animals are then eaten by predators such as dogs, cats, lions and even humans which allows these animals to sustain themselves and reproduce.

That's how I always think about it because the thought of dying has got me borderline nihilistic recently.
It's a good way to look at it only you never experienced life before you were born (that we know of).
I like to think we carry on in some way. Even the thought of symbiosis with nature the entropy makes me feel better
