Greetings from /an/. Do you believe that dogs can sense spirits or other paranormal activity that humans can't? My pooch has really been freaking me out lately; He's been growling, barking, and being afraid of what appears to be nothing despite being well-adjusted and hardly ever growling in his life. I'll post details of all the weird shit he's been doing lately if y'all are actually interested in hearing it.

If a ghost speaks in the ultrasonic range, a dog would be able to hear it, but a human would not. So that could be the case.
Otherwise, you should be able to see anything your dog sees.
Have you ruled out parasites or diseases OP?

No diseases or parasites would really affect an animal like this. I'm a vet assistant and the dog is in good health. He's been to the vet very regularly in the past few months, too.
