Hey /x/ I get these Lucid Dreams time after time but I honestly let go of the practice for a while. But I want to start again, with quicker results, is there a way to almost assure a lucid dream? I drink a shit ton of apple Juice before bed and then take melatonin pills and sometimes I get em. Any other tips and foods you suggest?

look up FILD, finger-induced lucid dreaming.
Easily the most effective induction method.
as im beginning to fall asleep, i imagine myself turning a lightswitch on and off repeatedly in an empty white room
once turning off the light doesnt make the room dark, i know ive begun dreaming

Im always trying this one but I either concentrate too much on my fingers and just wake myself up or do em too lightly and fall asleep without knowing

And what alarm do I use? fiLD if you put an alarm you have to turn it off so you basically wake yourself up already.
i haven't really got tips,
but i used to have really bad nightmares as a kid, so i build a natural defence for it, namely turning the situation around.
i later found out (before i knew it was lucid dreaming) that i could also manipulate my dreams. (although this usually makes me wake up really fast, so i hardly do it anymore)
usualy what triggers this is looking at my hands or looking at "gibberish" writing in the dream.
but if i want to lucid dream, i set an alarm.
sleep till alarm, wake up, turn off alarm and then go sleep again.
