Both inferno and religious works are not fanfics, they are "wisdom texts," or conceaed knowledge. Hiding in plain sight. They are written in order to spiritually develop people over a long period of time, as well as to provide information about the True nature of the universe to future generationsZ . There is no way to "come right out and say" what the inner workings of Reaity truly are, and to pull back the curtain for all to see, but there is a way to embed these Universal Truths in morality and culture. Some people in history have been closer to the truth than others. All religious texts hold a core of truth in a sea of perversion, and therein is their value. The truth of them is there for you to find.

First of all, there is no being named "Satan." Satan just means prosecutor. Second, there is no hell. Hell is a made up bullshit thing that Christians made as a mistranslation of gehenna, tartarus, and hades.

Gehenna is a shitty valley in Jerusalem. It's a real place, not a mystical punishing ground.

Hades, or Sheol as the jews call it, is literally just the state of being dead. It's described as a place of darkness, silence, and forgetfulness.

Tartarus is mentioned only once in 2 Peter 2:4 and is a direct reference to hellenistic theology.
