Time Travel doesn't allow you to return to the Timeline you left if you change anything in the Past. Changing things creates new/separate Timelines.

Unlimited Timelines exist, Time Travel operations have created several dozen at this point.

1. what makes something an unlimited timeline?
2. can you choose which timeline you travel back to or is it random?
3. can you know whats happening in a timeline without traveling to it?

1) I'm saying that an unlimited number of timelines exist.

2) The changes you make in the Past, will create a new Timeline you return to.

3) Time is Energy(I did a thread on this), if you monitor the Energy you can "Track"/"See" if anything changed in the Timeline that was created/changed by someone else. (For instance you are doing a Time Travel project & someone goes back to the past to change something, you can "Track"/"See" that New Timeline being changed/created.)

It would only work if you "Replace" yourself with yourself. Age difference would be a problem, but Clones(with fast growth/development) could be used but then the issues of memory/knowledge/experience differences end up being problems.

Right now we are in a state of time correction, similar to the ~300 period of non-existent years of Charlemagne. where Islam was introduced into the world because our timeline didn't fire it correctly.
