So, we have some extremely suspicious text from a source that is not always reliable, nor unbiased in reporting. When you combine that with information about the offensive art, there is enough material for a search warrant.

We don't know if there was a raid where kidnapped and abused children were rescued. If there has already been such an event, then it would be in the public interest to share that information freely. I do not see why that police action would be kept secret, except as blackmail. If someone wants to extort John Podesta for the money that comes from small donors, then there is already a miscarriage of justice and he could be found innocent through mistrial.

So, here are the three options for understanding PG, in order of public acceptance:

1) PG emails are forgeries, and they were designed by Russia to harm the Democratic party.

There was a recent story about DJT junior having a conversation with a Russian lawyer who was lobbying against the Magnitsky act. DJT junior was quoted as saying the lawyer offered 'information about the Clintons', but that the lawyer 'did not make sense.'

2) PG emails are real, but there has been no real investigative action.

If DJT's whitehouse clique had been earnestly posting on twitter and speaking at news conferences, then their reputation would not have seemed wounded when the gunman attacked Comet Ping-Pong. By not going public with details, they cause harm by providing a reason for the public to ignore grievous issues.

3) PG emails are real, but the investigation is being purposefully stalled for extortion.

This is at likely scenario- fits both: the continued paranoia, and the Russian lawyer conversation. The administration is denying the accused their 6th(public trial) and 8th amendment(unusual punishment) rights, so as to steal the money from small donors. I imagine a secret trial where the accused are unusually wasting other people's money.
