I was sleeping and doing my thing, woke up, and saw this thing just staring. I stared back for like, twenty minutes and I don't remember anything else. I got a friend of mine to sketch what I thought it looked like.

sleep paralysis is something that happens but some times its more than just that, my theory is that due to the fact that in sleep paralysis you have DMT (which causes dreams also said to reveal the world for what it is) you could possibly be seeing shadow people which is are horrible beings and usually seen in the corner of the eye.
