Why do i keep seeing 666 everywhere?

There is that phenomenon that when u learn something new, or think about a certain thing a lot, you start to see it everywhere.

I.e.: you see a new word that you never heard before, look it up in the dictionary, and then tomorrow you hear someone saying it

Weird the 666 thing has been happening to me for probably 5 solid years. Numerology says it's a good thing, I spoke with a satanist about she said it just means the devil loves you. Can't explain it either way. Probably is selective perception.
