It's not "supernatural beings general" thread. And werewolves are even less likely than vampires in my opinion because they break reality even harder. I highly doubt they exist.

Because as far as supernatural beings go vampires (not shapeshifting, flying or summoning fireballs... only immortal and maybe some enhanced speed/strength) are one of the likely beings to actually walk this earth.

The traits vampires are supposed to have such as a thirst for blood and being immortal do exist - to a degree - already in nature. But there's nothing that's able to pull off such an extreme change of bones, meat and everything instantly or even within hours. It's on the same level as throwing wizard fireballs around from nothing. Maybe werewolves could be real if the transformation took days or weeks.
