If you believe in a higher power and believe that it's will is both divine and perfect then why do you feel a need to defend it? Why would a God need defense? What if it was it's will that our current state should manifest? Why would you arrogantly feel as though you should change it? Unless of course, there are no Gods......yet, and we're all just jockeying to fill the position. Now wouldn't it make sense if a hierachal structure would prefer you to be docile, subservient, faithful, and meek? Perhaps you're the competition?

There are many gods but just one true God. This much is acknowledged by nearly every religion. Who is the true God is the real question. Most religions feel the need to defend that so that their divinity of choice is legitimized. Militancy is a big part of most religions.
Most likely, if there is a God (I believe there is, personally) it doesn't care about such hubris. Most likely doesn't care if we worship it or not. Its creation will live on long after us.

Satan.
In fact, I recommend daily concentrated hatred meditation towards me, focusing on all the horrible things that you want to happen to me!
