Contrary to popular believe don't light the fucker on fire. Then you'll have an angry, screaming ghoul that is also on fire.

Make a plan. Some traps and a few friends ready to attack. Take a shotgun and aim good and steady at the head. Shoot once and run towards your traps/friends. Hit and run tactics until the shit is immobilized.

After that, 2 extra rounds to the dome then decapitate it. Burn the head and the body separately then bury the remains separately as well.

Takes some work, but then again it also takes work to somehow end up in the woods with a pissed off ghoul.

If it's a wendigo then it's gonna be a pain to kill. Those niggers are efficient hunters and can pick up scents. It's easy to know they are nearby tho because they smell like a rotting animal.

If it's a ghoul/zombie type and you went away fast enough, you are pretty safe then because they are pretty stupid beyond the instinct to eat and probably got distracted by something else.

A good way to know is how it moved. If it went straight for you then it's probably not a wendigo since they are known to stalk and play with their prey before attacking.

If the Brunt is simply a natural creature, not supernatural, and thus is able to be killed by natural means, I would venture to guess it has similar defenses to that of a woodland predator. I.e., Thick skin, loosely attached to it's other tissues and lacking in blood vessels compared to a human, better sight and hearing than a human, and judging by the lack of hair and the pale skin, I wager it hides during the day in a den.
