every time i come on /x/, theres always a thread on the 1st page about summoning spooky ghosties and demons, usually succubi or satan himself. Every single time, for like 8 years now

Vampire threads, I guess, but a little bit of lameness is no big deal. Datefags suck too, maybe moreso. They're so gullible to think that they can trick people into caring about specific dates, but rather than noticing their own gullibility, they project it onto others.

The vampire threads are just a bunch of roleplay fags. Isn't there a cosplay board on 4chan? I blame Interview with the Vampire. That movie is to vampire culture to what The Chronic album was to rap music. Everybody thinks they're fucking gothfag Lestat and nothing has changed to this day. Just like gangster music. Ever since rap embraced it (the drug selling, booze, hoes, weed, murdering, jacking etc.) back in the late 80's nothing has changed.

I actually used to think vampires were cool, but... I can't think... of ANY reason why I actually thought that. It annoys me. Usually I understand my past self better than that, whether or not I actually agree with my past self. This one's a big fat blank. I remember some of what I said about vampires, but none of why I said it.

I keep thinking about wandering into vampire threads just in hopes of someone re-selling me on the idea, or at least remind me why I liked it before, but... You know how people wander into threads to be arbitrarily skeptical and twoo befievers tell them, "If you really didn't care about this, you wouldn't be here!" That's where I actually am about vampires. People who like vampires can keep having their vampire threads and it's no skin off my back. I'll just be on other parts of /x/.

The LARPing is not THAT bad, some small percentage can be pretty entertaining sometimes.
The Succubus shit is pretty cancerous, but only because it is posted too damn often.
