Looks like city workers are doing something useful in your area, OP. They spray the sidewalk to indicate what has been done. This looks like "K" <--- and then an "X" through it to indicate that whatever "K" stands for, it has either been finished, or is no longer there.

Where I live, for instance, "FH" means fire hydrant. The symbols here, but with the K replaced by a FH, would indicate that the Fire Hydrant is in the direction the arrow is pointing, but it has either been checked, or is no longer in service.

It does look like a contrusction sign. The color seems the same as in pic related, when Sarah Silverman thought these were swastikas.

In Southern California you can call a number for a dead bird and the city will come collect it. They test ALL dead birds they find for West Nile virus. They also test all found dead bats for rabies.

I guess birds who die in the wild are all eaten, so if one is on the ground it's unusual enough to test. Maybe the marks are semi-permanent paint where other dead birds where found?

I kept finding dead pidgeons a few months back, then one day I saw a falcon flying overhead and realized that's what was killing them. I go /out/ a lot and this was the first time I saw a falcon outside captivity.

I still see chem trails. They come out of the aircraft in small bursts and dissipate fast. They mostly try to hide it in clouds now as well.

that sign could be from workers who have to do something under the road or whatever and means something like "from here on to the left" road gets closed or something like that.

in the woods near my house you ser that shit everyday on the trees and walkways..
they do some shit on the trees that look like from horrormovies but in the end the signs mean stuff like "cut every branch below 3meters" or "this one must fall" or "take that one branch off at the left" and at the end you think the blair witch sits somewhere but at the end it was just a guy with a big belly and spray can.
