I would like to hear your theories on the origin of Hinduism.

Based on the belief system of babylon?

Created by other creatures/humans/angels/... which had to leave the garden of eden?

trika shaivism

All that exists, throughout all time and beyond, is one infinite divine Consciousness, free and blissful, which projects within the field of its awareness a vast multiplicity of apparently differentiated subjects and objects: each object an actualization of a timeless potentiality inherent in the Light of Consciousness, and each subject the same plus a contracted locus of self-awareness.

This creation, a divine play, is the result of the natural impulse within Consciousness to express the totality of its self-knowledge in action, an impulse arising from love.

The unbounded Light of Consciousness contracts into finite embodied loci of awareness out of its own free will. When those finite subjects then identify with the limited and circumscribed cognitions and circumstances that make up this phase of their existence, instead of identifying with the transindividual overarching pulsation of pure Awareness that is their true nature, they experience what they call “suffering.” To rectify this, some feel an inner urge to take up the path of spiritual gnosis and yogic practice, the purpose of which is to undermine their misidentification and directly reveal within the immediacy of awareness the fact that the divine powers of Consciousness, Bliss, Willing, Knowing, and Acting comprise the totality of individual experience as well—thereby triggering a recognition that one’s real identity is that of the highest Divinity, the Whole in every part.

This experiential gnosis is repeated and reinforced through various means until it becomes the nonconceptual ground of every moment of experience, and one’s contracted sense of self and separation from the Whole is finally annihilated in the incandescent radiance of the complete expansion into perfect wholeness.

Then one’s perception fully encompasses the reality of a universe dancing ecstatically in the animation of its completely perfect divinity

what i have read is that hinduism is the mixture of buddihsm and the old religion of brahmanism.

brahmanism was actually the old buddihsm that reached its decline.

shakyamuni buddah achieved enlighnment and renewed the teachings of true buddihsm.

when he died, brahmanism made a come back and some people started to mix it with buddhism and thus created hinduism.

therefore instigating the decline of buddhism in india.

i read this in the book "Zhuan Falun" written by Li Hongzi. Founder of Falun Gong.

Are you asking anthropologically? Like what groups of people had which traditions that were formalized and coalesced into the Vedas?

Or do you mean what does Hinduism say? As in the customs and rules for Mankind were set down in this cycle by Manu, and that the Vedic knowledge itself is eternal and has no origin?

Or do you mean viewing Hinduism from the stance that a different viewpoint is true and Hinduism is either twisted or just incorrect in what it says? As in to a Christian the origin of Hinduism is satan and other demons went there to be worshipped as gods and pretended to have stuff like multiple arms or elephant heads?

I heard that ascetics in ancient India would get really fucking high and at some point scribes started to record their insane ramblings, which became the Vedic texts that Hinduism is based on.

The indoaryans brought the language and the vedic religion. The native population had a tantra like spirituallity.

Slowly, the aryan religion got more and more influenced by the native ones (in the same way they were absorbed by the locals). Things like puja, siddhi, karma, etc are of non-aryan origin.

tl;dr
Modern hinduism is only 25% indoeuropean, and 75% native.

They eat the ganja and smoke all day. Theres even a story the Buddhists don't like cause The Historical Buddha was a Hindu ascetic first before he created Buddhism with his monks. The story claims he ate ganja every day for 6 years.

Heard that too that us Aryans conquered and implemented the ignorance that people consider Hinduism today and the natives where into that deep shit.

Never seen the percents before.

The indoiranian religion was already different from other indoeuropean branches because it took elements of the BMAC culture, like the soma ritual, some gods, etc and other things. Analysis of sanskrit and avestan founds a substrate language, unidentified, that appears on both in some technical words, flora, etc (therefore being absorbed before the indoiranians separated and one branch went to India).

Vedic or Brahman?

Brahmanism

As the Salem missionaries penetrated southward into the Dravidian Deccan, they encountered an increasing caste system, the scheme of the Aryans to prevent loss of racial identity in the face of a rising tide of the secondary Sangik peoples. Since the Brahman priest caste was the very essence of this system, this social order greatly retarded the progress of the Salem teachers. This caste system failed to save the Aryan race, but it did succeed in perpetuating the Brahmans, who, in turn, have maintained their religious hegemony in India to the present time.

The core beliefs came with Aryan migration originating in Egypt and mixed with indigenous faiths. Closest to Egyptian (purest Aryan) is Kashmir Shaivism/Trika.

Kenneth Grant wrote about this in Cults of the Shadow, now supported by science.

>Until recently, only data on mtDNA (or matrilineal DNA, transmitted only from mother to daughter) were available and that seemed to suggest there was little external infusion into the Indian gene pool over the last 12,500 years or so. New Y-DNA data has turned that conclusion upside down, with strong evidence of external infusion of genes into the Indian male lineage during the period in question.

>The reason for the difference in mtDNA and Y-DNA data is obvious in hindsight: there was strong sex bias in Bronze Age migrations. In other words, those who migrated were predominantly male and, therefore, those gene flows do not really show up in the mtDNA data.

>tfw males are the ones who go to different places and rape their genes into the wimmin folk
>tfw this means males are the ones who spread the new genetic material to different areas, while females are the core human stock
>tfw the X-chromosome is large and majestic compared to the mutated, twisted testing ground that is the Y-chromosome
>tfw genes show the dual chaos/order of nature
