Hell, assuming you mean the fire and brimstone malarkey, didn't exist as a concept in Abrahamic religions until the 14th century. The original concept of Hell was called Sheol, and it was a place of shadows. Hell is also considered to be anywhere a soul is not in the presence of God to some degree.

The ideology you keep using is basically action movie conflict superimposed over a wide range of non-literal parables. There can never be a winner in a battle between light and shadow. They are two sides to the same coin, and depend on one another for their very existence. Neither could overthrow the other without also destroying themselves.

Also, while it's debatable, Lucifer's rebellion wasn't against God, it was against humans. By refusing to serve us, Lucifer disobeyed God's Will (a very problematic contradiction in Abrahamic theology, since God's Will is supposed to be immutable, and angels are supposed to lack free will), and was thus punished.
