That movie is actually really cringey upon rewatching it.

The only good thing to come out of that film was the one actually good jumpscare. Everything else was just tryhard scary, without actually being scary, and being more embarrassing.
6th sense did it better

the vhs films (specifically, the short films in them) were really cool imo as far as paranormal found footage type shit; they felt more organic and believable than shit like paranormal activity, but the setup/main story in each film was absolute garbage
jeruzalem was also a fun watch. literally the whole first 2/3rds of the movie is bullshit setup but the lead girl is fine af so i didnt mind so much lol. best religious horror movie ive seen once the action starts tho, very unique.
loved the cloverfield films (second one was called "10 cloverfield lane"). didnt mind the shaky camera everyone bitched about in the first one, if anything i felt it was necessary to not show too much of the monster and lose the horror aspect of it. and the second one was what every sequel should aspire to be imo, completely different film from the first, leaves you wanting another.
lastly, as a huge zombie lover, "maggie" was a really cool film to watch. felt like a very real, human situation even tho its literally a zombie virus outbreak, i feel like any zombie fan should watch it, if only for a change of pace from the same old formula
