Played around and made an alternative flower of life based on the number 9 instead of 7. This pattern emerged. Anyone seen this before?

if it's not fractal, it's not geometric, but it could still have something of value in it. the flower of life is specifically called Kepler's fractal.

Seem pretty fractal to me, do you mean because of the mistake at the right side? I fixed that in last picture, was due to my old laptop moaning about rendering that.
Yes, thanks a lot for the link. I'm also looking for a book, maybe you know it. Written by some guy obsessed about sacred geometry. It's a thick book about natural occurences of sacred patterns. Black book, nicer cover. All I can remember, but this guy wrote several books.

I'd like to know this book as well or any other decent books on sacred geometry/ golden ratio pi stuff besides that kook that wrote the ancient secret of the flower of life bullshit who claimed to talk to thoth.

Took a while, but I found the guy I meant. It's Scott Onstott, his website is www.secretsinplainsight.com.

Yeah it does that.

It's the weirdest thing. I can't focus on a diagonal line, if i start in one corner and try to follow a line, the circles jump around and form groups. Straight lines are fine if I go slowly. Never seen an optical illusion like that.
