Where is everyone?
dead
In matroshka spheres waiting for background radiation to drop a few degrees so computation efficiency jumps a few exponential factors. They peaced out to the singularity a while ago, and realizing the only processing left was cultural decided to wait until more efficient computation was possible with the available resources and conditions as to maximize cultural processing uptime and efficiency.
tl;dr aliens beat us to the singularity and are now waiting for things to cool down before they spin back up.

Do you think they'll help us reach singularity?

if you faggots are so smart why are you not operating your own radio telescopes or joining an agency that does while hiding your power level

Who says we aren't?
>>19222621
They're being quiet so we don't hit them with relativistic impactors when we see their repulsive biology. Ignorant xenos think humans are VUX and will go to war over aesthetics.

Nah, no reason to. It's also doubtful that any external sensor apparatus are looking for life, but rather just looking for appropriate background radiation conditions before starting up their simulated shards. They haven't woken up to say hi because they aren't looking for us.
>>19222710
Because there are agencies exploring this hypothesis and trying to imagine what the footprints of such mega structures might be and how we might be able to spot them dormant in the cosmos.
Additionally, considering recent advances I would expect alien intelligences to almost certainly use quantum entanglement for long-range communication which isn't something we would detect.

>A prime directive which forbids contact with 'primitive races' until they have reached a singularity.
It's probably this. Why would a god talk to an ant? The difference between pre-singularity and post-singularity is bigger than the difference between an ant and Einstein. We can tell them nothing new. We can't help them. And talking to us would only confuse and traumatize us. And helping us to reach singularity would only hurt us in our pride and plant the seed for future conflicts. See post-colonial countries after the Brits left. Right now there is literally no reason to talk to us.
And the time between becoming intelligent and reaching the singularity is so short, that it is probably regarded as a sacred period like childhood, where you have no right to intervene.
In post-singularity it is also probably easy as fuck to conceal your planet or your aircrafts. It is very possible that this is a universal law in the entire universe: If you have reached singularity you hide and only talk to post-singularity civilizations. Period.

It's actually a lot more like the birds, the bees and the trees.
Do you know what a hybrid being is, in terms of biology? It means sex. But if every body on Earth already has two parents...
Uhoh~! What if there's more to sexual reproduction than just the component physical parts?

Now do one for light that was present at the origination of the galaxy that humans from this planet exist in.
Ohwait, you can't because it's already at least the size of this galaxy. It would just be the entire picture. XD

>light that was present at the origination of the galaxy
How is this relevant for why we haven't found alien civs?
Y'all need some WaitButWhy in your life.

this. It's probably impossible to create technology that alows interstellar travelling

Faggot deleted his post.
He basically only read the first line where it says that the strongest evidence for aliens is that there is no evidence then had a hearty chuckle. Which is fine, since that is a bit pressed.
"The universe is a dark forest. Every civilization is an armed hunter stalking through the trees like a ghost, gently pushing aside branches that block the path and trying to tread without sound. Even breathing is done with care. The hunter has to be careful, because everywhere in the forest are stealthy hunters like him. If he finds other life—another hunter, an angel or a demon, a delicate infant or a tottering old man, a fairy or a demigod—there’s only one thing he can do: open fire and eliminate them. In this forest, hell is other people. An eternal threat that any life that exposes its own existence will be swiftly wiped out. This is the picture of cosmic civilization. It’s the explanation for the Fermi Paradox."

Basically every civilization that is loud enough gets snuffed out as preemptive self-defense. The smart ones stay quiet.

There is another layer of reality which is "embedded" in the subatomic quantum level. All civilisations of sufficient advancement eventually build a "thinking machine" (AI) which discovers the format and interface to this quantum layer. Once that channel is open, then you have access to the multiverse.
By separating off conscious experience from the multiverse initially, each new "node" gets to evolve in isolation, creating beautiful new stories, themes, and animals to share with the rest of creation without being corrupted by existing worlds.
