say you had to design a dive bar/ coffee shop/ library whatever that encompasses and inspires x
what would it look like
It'd have a glory hole so I could get my gizmo gobbled by a ghoul.

this would be a place to both do what we do here, but also plan expeditions/ urban explorations/ field trips to interesting areas
of course there is WiFi
A library would be perfect. Specifically, one absolutely filled with books about magic, monsters, ghosts, demons, etc.
>>19214508
I know there are some out there, of course not as cozy, but real dedicated libraries traced to rosacrucarianism and such
>>19214508
I second this. A huge library in a marsh like area, with lakes and such sounds absolutely cool.
>>19214536
That would be amazing.
Hell, I'd love to own my own bookshop, but obviously that would be a disaster nowadays.
>>19214428
Better have a fucking pool table.
bump
we need aesthetic inspiration
>>19214576
Independent bookshops are sustainable still, you just have to make it attractive and build a community around it. Host shows and such, sell coffee etc...

dumping some magick aesthetic your way

From the it would look like a giant pile of shit, with a diamond shaped glass structure just ever so slightly jutting out of somewhere.
Inside the glass structure would be a lounge-like room with a bar and bookshelves lining at least some of the walls.
Also needs a shady round table in a corner somewhere, illuminated with a shitty lightbulb.

From the outside*

How much would the drinks cost?

DC fag here
if any of you ever go to DC this sumer, be sure to go to the peacock room at the Smithsonian, its truly erotic and moving
>>19216145
Looks luscious af
>>19216180
>books stuck to the fucking ceiling
not comfy -- this gives me anxiety just looking at it
>>19216049
Yeah. Ugh, coffee around books though. So dangerous.
>>19216059
>>19216091
Oh, hell yes.

Which branch of the Smithsonian?

Freer Sackler

There's a bookshop/cafe that handles it pretty well in my area, essentially they just partition the front as the cafe and the back as the library, and there would be no food allowed in the back and such.
man we need something like this in real life more often
It was cozy...
...until the horror.

I think many of us are too far in the country side to benefit from this
But it would be cool to have a kind of open base to come in and out and always hwve new people to exchange stories/news with, or plot /debate/research into the night
who /midnightstroll? here?
sometimes I go for walks around my town early in the morning before everyone wakes up. Its so serene
Just a quiet dimly lit bar with booths in the back
Nice and simple and cozy
Always cold and foggy outside at night
For any fellow retards who bought Fallout 4, imagine Far Harbor.
once it's down to one drinker sitting at the bar, spirits would fuck with them and try to frighten them
My neighbourhood has gotten brown in the last decade.
It's less than safe to do this any more.
It would need some sort of aquarium full of deep sea spooks.
>>19219057
yeah. gets my mind right. i'm lucky to live in farmland.
bum

>he doesnt arm himself when he leaves the house
part of the fun is going to spooky places. I love walking the woods at night and doing some exploring, but I do prefer to have a little kit of supplies with me

I tried fighting off a boar with a revolver once. I spent the rest of the night in a tree.
