if you also keep a regular sleep schedule, it helps you lucid dream. I used to have 2-3 lucid dreams per week. Was pretty fun and did a lot of different things
Start with simple breath meditation. Sit cross legged or full lotus if u can, back straight but not ramrod, eyes focused a few feet in front of you, breathe in and out while staying detached from your thoughts, good or bad. Trick is not too engage them, not to fight or block them out, and eventually your mind gets quieter.
