I just experienced this very severely last night after having a really fucked up sleeping schedule lately. It was scary as hell, it actually felt like I was being abducted.
First I felt a sharp pain in my mouth for a split second after I began to fall asleep. It felt like someone had shoved a rod into the roof of my mouth.
Next when I fell asleep on my side it felt like a needle was pushed into my shoulder for a split second.
Finally, right as I was about to fall asleep a bright light went past my face, like I was being pushed into an MRI machine with a light ring around the end of it, or something like that. It felt like I was moving.
Does anyone else have this happen to them? It's pretty amazing along with sleep paralysis how our mind can wander.

are you sure you didn't mean to make a gangstalking thread instead
Did you get an MRI scan to see if it was real? Are you sure it didn't happen?
Every time I'm in my bed with my eyes closed and I hear a loud noise, a bright color pops up in my eyes. It's a different color for every kind of sound. I find them pretty amusing.
This has happened to me all my life that often if I go to sleep very tired I will experience a loud noise and violently awaken in a panic.
I have never felt painful sensations just noise and panic.

/x/ is in good humor today lol
Yes, it was scary as shit until I got used to it and dominated it. The time I dominated was when I was trying WILD induced lucid dreaming, I KNEW I would hear that fucking noise if I tried it but I grew some balls and did it anyway. I started falling asleep and hearing the harsh noise but this time I didn't try to stop it or wake up, instead I kept telling myself it's an illusion and kept calm until it stopped. Now I can lucid dream like this every time, it feels pretty cool.
