So before I start a little background, I was born in the U.S and grew up there most of my childhood, when I was about 12 or so my family moved to Peru where I stayed there for the entirety of my teen life. We had a decent sized 2 story house and I lived in this room that was cut off from the rest of the house (the door goes out to the back yard, this will be important later). It is because of this that what I saw was seen only by me since the rest of my family lives in the main house.

>One day I and a couple of friends decide to go up this giant statue of a lady at the top of a nearby hill (I think it's virgin Mary but i can't be sure)
>We spend the day around the statue and decide to start heading back
>It gets dark quickly due to the high mountains so we hurry down the hill
>Stop for a second to rest and let our bigger friend catch up.
>Hear him scream and see him running toward us like a bolt.
>Ask him what's wrong
>Tells us he saw what looked like a giant "fucked up" dog on its hind legs
>He's blubbering about what he saw so me and my friends decide to head back to try to see it
>Friend doesn't want to go back, we force him anyway
>We walk back up the hill to the clump of trees where he said he saw the "thing"
>We look around for about 15 minutes and don't find anything
>Keeps talking about how it looked like a werewolf, scariest thing he'd ever seen, etc.
>We call him a pussy and give him some shit for wasting our time.
>Head home for the day, don't mention it to my family
