Is there documented proof of anyone ever getting shot down trying to fly to/over Antarctica?

Not saying it wouldn't happen but it could be quite interesting to see news of this happening.

Even assembling an army of drones to do the flying. One, two, or five get shot down but much harder to get 100 drones at the same time.
