Why are the "aliens" morphologically like us? Like, I was looking at the shape of the bones in OPs pic, like humerus, ulna & radius and it make me think.

By the normal standard of seeing things it would mean we have a common ancestor, since it's possible to develop the same kind of movement the arm does with other bone configurations. But no, it has a humerus, ulna and radius, you can outline the shapes. This kind of homology usually means the species share a common ancestor.
