Hey guys, I don't know if this is even the right thread and it's really fucking stupid but I keep getting these grease smudges on my laptop's screen. So a while back (around a month ago) I kept noticing these smudges on the left of my screen, I thought it was weird but maybe I had touched the screen at some point or closed it and it got dirty. Just a while ago I deceided to test it and see what was up with it, if either I was going crazy or whatever, so I let the laptop open and made sure the screen was clean. When I came back, the smudge was there and I'm positive nobody came in my room since I was alone at the time. Can someone provide alternatives as to why this is happening? I'm feeling really paranoid right now.
Pic not related.
Doom guy is so cool. Your laptop is possessed, run a virus scan.

you see, I tried doing that but I realized my malwarebytes trial has expired.
And I've been getting this strange phenomenon since I got my laptop and i got it new so we can rule out that it was used for any kind of rituals

condensation, grease accumulation from stoves,
image burn in, failing leds.
hey if Doom guy killed all the big bads in hell, does he become the next overlord? since the earth was destroyed after all and whatnot.

Okay, but check it out, it's like if you rubbed the tip of a greasy nose against the screen and it's just a little bit, like one inch long at most and 3/4 of an inch wide, it almost looks like someone painted with grease on my screen. My laptop is in my room and the stove is nowhere near my room and as I said the laptop is brand new, I can physically wipe the grease off my screen.
I WANT TO BELIEVE

yeah those stupid screens get these weird foggy abrasions that never go away once they are there.
It looks, like they do when you clean them but wait and watch closely, the damage is there permanently.
I don't even think high grit polishing and buffing will fix it.
also get combofix for future actual infections.

That actually might be it, thanks man.
Nice dubs

btw, are you supposed to be able to see them when the screen is off?

np Dood

yeah.
kind of like when you drop your phone and rub it all over gravel or how the screens on a nintendo ds/i/3ds get layers of microabrasions on the liquid touchscreen

Alright buddy, thanks again!
