So me and my friend were talking about conspiracies, ayylmaos and the such, and she mentioned that her grandfather had told her that the government was hunting down Sasquatches, because they didn't want people finding out about it.
I never considered this side of the Bigfoot argument, so what could be a possible explanation as to why the government would exterminate Bigfeet?

Bigfoot is the only real cryptid out there. They're pretty dangerous, according to Native tribes, and people have gone missing in the woods where they've been spotted.
