Give me the truth on necromancy /x/

It's a bit of a dead art.

I think it is possible. We are sort of doing it now with defibrillators to revive someone.We would eventually be able to revive someone who is "brain dead", and the definition of "dead" would change, just as it did previously.

Cryonics might also change the definition of dead; it hinges on a person not being irredeemable from death until the brain is sufficiently destroyed. Anything beyond that is too philosophical to question (if your brain was destroyed but we printed a brain identical in structure to yours, would you be back?)
