On the other hand, if you mean whether paranormal things happened during WWII, then most certainly, for example, foo fighters being the most famous as was the Los Angeles 'Air Raid' of 1942. On the Soviet side of things, there was the body of a 'wild-man' retrieved in Mongolia around 1941/42, which due to war conditions couldn't be transported to Moscow for further examination, and those are just on the tip of my tongue.
