Just an anon dumping OC and sharing paranormal experiences as thanks for four (mostly) entertaining years of lurking.
Also, I'm apparently a "god."
Pic is from room adjacent to morgue in juvenile detention center/ mental ward in Laurel, MD.
Morgue from previously mentioned location.
Bits of rubble found in a supply closet.
Previously personalized blackboard from Glenn Dale Hospital in Glenn Dale, MD.
View out of an overgrown side window in Glenn Dale.
Remnants of a bathroom at GD.
Homeless camp in one of the maintenance buildings on the outside of GD's adult hospital.
Sterilizing machine from the upper floor labs in the adult hospital.
(Fume hood?) from the upper floor labs in GD.
Posting more in a half an hour or so.
Check the old thread for better pics. I exhausted a lot of the cooler ones there. Still some good ones left, but I may be grasping at straws. A lot are duplicates with crap lighting.
No shortage of stories, though.

is it entirely healthy to go in an abandoned hospital? i know urbex itself has risks but wouldnt a hospital have left over diseases in it?
dosnt sound like a good idea

Leftover diseases? Nah. Asbestos and the hazards of traipsing around a crumbling building? Definitely.
The sad part is that the police are the scariest part of going into these places.
Flooded roof of the children's hospital.

It's not, but it's fun and an experience you won't soon forget. Think of skydiving.
View from the porch of one of the nurse's houses in the complex outside of the children's hospital.
Left back side of Glenn Dale's adult hospital.
Switching locations again, since I dug up more photos. The place in Laurel, MD is called Forest Haven.
Pic is an old front of a data terminal.
Graffiti on the walls of Forest Haven.
One of my favorites.
Some art tiles embedded in the walls of Forest Haven.
A good story from there is that the place is supposedly heavily guarded, considering that it's adjacent to a juvenile detention center. My buddy and I went with two others and we decided to split up into pairs once we got in.
We heard footsteps, saw flashlights, and heard radio chatter, so we hid in the dark of an old bathroom.
We called the girl in the other group to check in on them, and the footsteps kept getting closer and closer. She was starting to get psyched out.
My buddy and I are still in the bathroom, holding our breath.
The footsteps ended up being the fourth guy we brought along who got lost, and gave nearly everyone a heart attack. The radio chatter we thought we heard was simply him talking on his phone with a bad signal.
We didn't split up anymore. Should've learned from Scooby.
Adult sized crib in Forest Haven's main room.
Someone forgot to feed the baby.
Taking a break from posting. Will check in a bit later. Hopefully someone is enjoying this thread.
Pic is flooded Glenn Dale staircase. Saving some good Forest Haven ones for later.
And, I haven't even shown off some more "artifacts" I've picked up from some of my adventures.
More to come, if interest piques.
Who am I kidding? More to come anyway.
