Maybe get out of the basement for a bit and go outside? Seriously. Get a telescope and actually make detailed observations over a week. You'll see how the shadows move across the craters, and how it's very clearly not flat.

I did, I live on the highest floor in the house and this is not a telescope issue, this is something people only can find out when they fly up with a bunch of people in space and look at the sides.
