Okay /x/ clearly something strange is going on in Antarctica. What are all these UFOs that can be seen all over the continent?
you know what a UFO is bro???

That thing doesn't appear to be flying.

It's clearly a crashed UFO. The same basic shape that's usually described and it's got a giant trail behind it.
Who knows what's hiding under there?
>>19172046
after crashing, it is refered to as a UO. please don't come to /x/ if you're this far behind with the lingo

>clearly

Thank God someone understands.
I say "ufo" normie people hear "spoopy alien spaceship". No wonder people think I'm nuts. The fact that UFOs are all over the world through many different eras can't even be debated. They're there. Saying "yup, definitely aliens" is a different story.

If it wasn't flying then why is there a giant trail behind the object?

Likely Golems

Considering the filename is "tanks" and those things actually look like tanks with turrets and everything, I'd say it's a tank moving through the snow.
If they're tanks (one of them has a shadow that clearly looks like a gun) then they're part of a military test.

>a stone's throw from McMurdow Station on the coast
>abandoned now, even when the pic was first shown there were no real tracks
>most recent pics show less of an outline, looks like snow has covered them
Someone could run this pic by /k/, a lot of them overlap to /x/ and would love to use their autism to identify these, which could put a date on them. If someone's seriously autistic you could send a letter to the QSL station at McMurdo and ask about the tanks, they might humor you.
I'd be more curious if it were at the center of the continent or far from any base.

Old snowcats/bombardiers

Wouldn't surprise me if it were some Cold War stuff. We did the same thing in Greenland, making a base in Thule and another in the central part. After we realized the ice shifted too much, we pretty much stopped trying.
There's sadly no real environmental laws there. When people are done they can leave equipment lying about.

Probably

Tanks and military equipment are banned in Antarctica though because of peace treaties.
