Actually, we get a lot of wood from our neighbor, why cut down a bunch of white oaks to plant blight-resistant American chestnuts.
Only oak trees. I couldn't care less if other trees get cut down.

This. If trees are continually cut down they should leave some of the tree intact and than pull it out of the ground so more trees can grow. Its a win win.
