Okay, don't go to MEPS first. They will flush you right out and not give a second thought to it. What you need to do is go to the doctor and address all of your health concerns, get approval from a GP, and get your waivers taken care of. Yes, there will be a delay because of that, but you need to have all of your ducks in a row and have all of your bases covered so when your arrive at MEPS they have more confidence that you're fit for service. You won't be able to slip past them on your own. You'll need the help of a doctor who can back you up about your fitness to serve. The doctor will actually address many of your concerns, possibly even put you in a different state of mind over the situation. I have to say, your confidence doesn't really increase, but you see things from a different perspective and it will help you learn where to go forward with the issues that are preventing you from enlisting. What the doctor tells you may seem a bit heavy or even maybe that what you have to get right to be able to enlist may not be possible to achieve, but it is.
After you take care of the things addressed at the doctor, there will be a bit of a delay, but if you keep putting on the pressure and keep fighting for it, you will be able to enlist. :)
