One of the friends of this Rachael's dead facebook was a guy named Dakota, but Dakota wouldn't respond to people's messages so OP messaged what looked like a close friend.

The friend got Dakota and the OP together on Skype and he said that he knew Rachael and she lived in his building. Then he said he'd put her online and suddenly the writing style changed to that of the letter with 'Rachael' saying that the letter was for Robin Williams.

It came off very fishy to the OP and to everyone in the thread and it seemed like Dakota was pretending to be Rachael. The theory was that he's a crossdresser.

They agreed to meet up but then they flaked on the OP, most likely because they found the thread on 4chan. So he was left with no other directions to go.
