One of my favorite conspiracies is the cave discovered in the Grand Canyon filled with ancient Egyptian artifacts. It was based on a newspaper article in the early 20th century, but supposedly the Smithsonian is covering it up or the article was a fake.

Well, that's interesting. The exact coordinates are 51.413333, 30.042366 in case anyone here wants to see for themselves. It even says "3a" when you zoom in close enough. I suppose it could be a cloud or just a random satellite imagery fuck up, though it does seem very deliberate. Plus, blotting something out like that seems like a pretty stupid move, since it just draws attention.
