Apperently my mother had told me of "secret scriptures" that were taken out of the Bible that basically said something to the effect of "despite all my rules and all that I ask of you, I will forgive you in the end no matter what and that is a promise." It depends on what you've done OP. If it's something minor, then you'll be forgiven.

However, if what you've done is something heinous, then god will not forgive so easily. You will have to atone for your sins if this is the case, and your atonement will really depend upon Gods own judgement. You may be punished, you may have to suffer like you've possibly made others suffer.

My advice would be to try and make up for your sins now, rather than later.
