there's an eerie secret in Sonic CD. i think it's the audio test menu.
if you put in a certain code, it takes you to a screen where sonic has a weirdly deformed face and he's smiling. in the US version, there's demonic laughter or smth that plays.

If you climb mount Chiliad at midnight and fire exactly 21 rifle shots into the air before the clock strikes one, you'll summon a trio of UFOs. They won't do anything but hover around the player and if you jetpack towards one you'll just clip through it, but it's still a pretty neat little-known Easter egg.

hey actually put bigfoot in GTA V because the developers were aware of the bigfoot craze, it can be seen with one of the night vision snipers you use in the level where you get flown around in a helicopter to shoot a bunch of hillbilly's, bigfoots silhouette pops up for a few seconds amiting heat and then just vanishes

damn wish more people were talking about WoW. I played that shit so much that just by dumb luck and odds I found like 6 or 7 different bugged spots, glitches or sp00kie shit. One I remember most vividly was a wall clip my friend and I found in Ahn'Qiraj which to this day I don't believe anyone else has found. Haven't been subbed in prob a year so cant get any screenshots but you could drop through the wall and beneath the dungeon was a platform and some weird shit.

If you manage to find a way to go beneath the "real" world in WoW, you can find amazing stuff, like pic related. It was beneath Karazhan.

Man I fucking loved exploits, I went into a zone that was named "Quel'Thalas", and it hasn't been used till now. I also went in old Ironforge, and Ironforge airport, before you could fly in azeroth. But the best and spookiest exploit was Hyjal, before Cataclysm ofcourse. You could see Archimond's corpse.

It's a scary game anyway, but in Silent Hill 2 right before the first pyramid head fight, there is an apartment you go through where it is deadly silent and you may hear a strange whisper. However the chance you'll hear it in any given playthrough is about 1 in 4. I used to play the game over and over as a kid, and knowing about the whisper and not being sure if I would hear it was always scary as hell. It's the very last clip of this video

I'm biased cos I loved the fuck out of oblivion, but yeah it has aged horribly. all the textures are overblown and ugly too. if you get the character overhaul mod, and some environmental textures/effects it really improves the experience.

on-topic, oblivion is full of little touches like that, elder scrolls is great for it.
